According to a charge seen by Mmegi Online, the state has charged three persons, Bakang Seretse, Sharifa Noor, and Alphonse Ndzinge, their companies Kgori Capital and Kgori holdings for corruption amounting to P62,720,000.00. The case emanates from a 2017 deal where the state alleges the accused persons are guilty of Forgery of an official document, stealing by an agent, and Conspiracy to defraud the then Department of Fraud under the Ministry of Minerals, Energy, and Water Resources. The accused persons were slapped with the charges on Monday.

Initially, the NPF case had a total of 14 accused persons, including, amongst others, Businessman Bakang Seretse, Former head of DISS, the late Isaac Kgosi, former Minister Sadique Kebonang, former High Court Judge Zein Kebonang, Kenneth Kerekang, Kago Stimela, Mogomotsi Seretse, Thato Bojelo, and their companies.
