ALS Paramedics said it was alerted via emergency calls to an alleged CIT heist and a possible explosion just before the KwaMakutha turn‑off on the M35.
ALS Paramedics said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found that the cash‑in‑transit van had been blown up by suspects. Two guards were present; one sustained minor injury and was treated on scene by ALS paramedics. The incident comes after another CIT heist on the R617 on Tuesday.
