Sandile Khumalo, SC. A witness involved in the Madlanga Commissionhas been shot dead. National South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed that police were alerted to a shooting in Brenthurst, in Brakpan, on Friday night.

Police were on their way to the scene. The identity of the witness is unclear at this stage. Police are investigating further.
