SAMANTHA MADEMore than 300 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in this year’s Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS), scheduled to run from August 25 to 30,Business Timescan report.ZAS Chief Executive Officer Rufaro Gunundu revealed the growing interest in this year’s edition, saying:“At this stage, 304 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in this year’s agricultural show, with expectations to reach 580 exhibitors.”He said the 2025 edition carries special significance as it celebrates the enduring importance of agriculture in national development.“As we commemorate this historic edition, we reaffirm the vital role agriculture plays in the socio-economic development of Zimbabwe and the livelihoods of millions across the country.”To enhance the value of the show, Gunundu said a robust programme of Business-to-Business (B2B) engagements has been curated, aimed at bringing together senior executives, industry experts, and government stakeholders.“These strategic platforms are designed to bring together senior executives, industry experts, and government stakeholders to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore innovations that can drive the growth of agricultural enterprises.”He noted that these interactions are designed to spark collaboration, tackle sector-specific challenges, and unlock opportunities in both local and global markets.Gunundu also reported strong demand for exhibition space, with over 62,000 square metres already allocated.“In terms of exhibition space, we have already allocated 62,710.64 square metres, steadily progressing toward our target of 89,000 square metres The strong uptake is a clear reflection of the show’s continued relevance and appeal across sectors.”The official opening of the 2025 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show is set for Friday, August 29.“The official opening of the 2025 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show is set for Friday, 29th August 2025 Comprehensive preparations are underway to ensure the event maintains its high-profile status Further details, including key announcements, will be shared in due course.”This year’s show will also spotlight Zimbabwe’s top agricultural talent
