Mudenda advised the Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade to implore ambassadors to market Zimbabwe. “We challenge the Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade to implore ambassador to market our nation so that we have trade with other nation which will uplift our economy for the development of the nation,” he said.

Mudenda said the budget analysis workshop was meant to come up with meaningful measures to uplift the nation, imploring MPs to take it seriously. “This analysis is very critical as we work to implement and come with measures that make our nation to have a functional economy,” he said.

Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution minister Judith Ncube expressed hope that the budget analysis will help in the revival of industries in the city. “We hope our city will acquire necessary resources and funds to revive our industries as our city was once an industrial hub and employed a large number of population,” she said.
