Zimbabweans Explain Hidden Meanings Behind Objects Used in Prophet Makandiwa’s US$1 Million Prophecy Challenge

Zimbabweans on social media are dissecting the meaning behind five of the six mysterious items that Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa used in his highly publicised US$1 million prophecy challenge.

The much-anticipated event took place on Sunday, March 9, at Makandiwa’s UFIC Basilica in Chitungwiza, drawing large crowds both in person and online. A total of 24 self-proclaimed prophets and sangomas stepped up to take the challenge, but none succeeded.

Prophet Makandiwa had issued an open invitation to any prophet or sangoma brave enough to correctly predict what he had concealed in his pocket. To make things more interesting, he put a staggering US$1 million prize on the line.

Despite their efforts, not a single participant managed to guess all six hidden items.

It was later revealed that Prophet Makandiwa had concealed binoculars, a thermometer, an antenna, a test kit, a mouth freshener and an orange object.
