Four persons of interest have been taken in for questioning in connection with a brutal triple murder in Gordon’s Bay. Three men between the ages of 40 and 45 years were gunned down while seated inside a white Toyota vehicle in the parking lot at Gordon’s Bay Mall around 9.30pm on Tuesday night. Police believe that the motive for the attack is a gang-related incident.

According to police information, the men were approached by gunmen who opened multiple shots, killing all three before fleeing the scene in their vehicle. The trio were declared deceased on the scene, with two found inside the vehicle and the other’s body found lying on the pavement. Gordon’s Bay police have registered three murder cases for investigation.

Police spokesperson Constable Ndakhe Gwala confirmed that police have made a breakthrough in the case and have taken four persons in for questioning. However, no arrests have been made yet.
