The Honda Fit had slowed down to give way at a junction when the collision occurred. All three passengers died on the spot.Meanwhile, ZRP Chinhoyi is investigating a separate fatal hit-and-run incident that took place on the same day at the 99-kilometre peg along the Harare-Chirundu Road.

An unidentified man was struck by a motorist driving an unknown vehicle.
