George Maponga in MasvingoPan African Parliament (PAP) president Chief Fortune Charumbira says the continental legislature must craft a model law that will spearhead Africa’s digital revolution while ensuring that the process is inclusive and beneficial to the continent’s populace.Speaking at the Forward Africa Leaders Symposium held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, the PAP president highlighted the importance of integrating the parliamentary dimension into the governance architecture of Africa’s digital transformation journey.He is leading the continental legislature’s delegation to the UN, deepening the efficacy of parliamentary diplomacy.The symposium was done under the theme, “Advancing Africa’s Digital Transformation: Inspiring Action. Accelerating Growth.
