AIRTEL Zambia says its recently launched Spam Alert feature is designed to protect customers from scammers by notifying them when a suspicious SMS is detected. The number of scammers using Airtel SIM cards has continued to increase. Hardly a day passes without customers receiving phone calls or messages from scammers, leaving many Zambians worried about the security and safety of their finances.

In an interview, Monday, Airtel Head of Business Antoinette Mubanga said the Airtel Spam Alert feature immediately notifies customers when a suspicious SMS is detected, helping them avoid potential fraud attempts.
