The scholarship programme initiated by Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nqobizitha Ndlovu, through the Nqobizitha Ndlovu Foundation, has transformed the lives of learners from rural areas in Bulilima District, Matabeleland South Province.Currently, 11 students from the district are benefiting from this initiative, which aims to create a better future for these young individuals. During his recent birthday celebrations held at Ntunungwe Secondary School, Minister Ndlovu introduced the students and explained that the scholarship programme was launched to secure a prosperous future for intelligent but less privileged children. The scholarship beneficiaries presented Minister Ndlovu with a heartfelt donation of stationery and sanitary wear, which was received by Ntunungwe Secondary School. “These are some of the students who I have been paying fees for where they learn at Midlands State University and University of Zimbabwe.

“As a beneficiary of the Nqobizitha Mangaliso Foundation, I am sincerely grateful for the financial assistance towards my tuition fees at Midlands State University. This support has given me the opportunity to focus more on my studies without the constant stress of school fees. The foundation has not only lightened the financial burden on my family but has also restored hope and determination in me and many other students.

“It is truly inspiring to see an organisation that believes in the power of education and is committed to empowering young people. I am motivated to work hard, succeed, and one day give back to the community, to others the same way the Foundation has done for us. Thank you for being a pillar of support in our academic journey Mr Hon Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu,” said Moyo.Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
