According to the authority, money laundering is not a victimless act but a serious crime that connects organized crime, drug trafficking, human smuggling, and large-scale fraud.
By “cleaning” criminal proceeds, offenders create the illusion of legitimacy, allowing illegal enterprises to flourish unchecked.
