THE National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) has issued a firm one-week ultimatum to the Zambia Boxing Federation (ZBF) to switch their affiliation from the International Boxing Association (IBA) to World Boxing (WB). NOCZ president Alfred Foloko warned that failure to comply will see boxing excluded from major international competitions and Olympic programmes. Foloko said ZBF’s continued affiliation to the IBA, contrary to directives from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), had effectively disqualified the federation from the Olympic Movement in Zambia.
