MINISTER of Sports Youth and Arts Elvis Nkandu has expressed dissapointment with the performance of the Chipolopolo Boys, following Zambia’s early elimination from the ongoing 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco. The Chipolopolo failed to go past the group stage at the tournament in Morocco after consecutive defeats against Mali and Comoros, before a painful 3-0 defeat to Morocco. Nkandu described the Chipolopolo’s showing at the AFCON as below expectations for a former continental champion.
Nkandu said the government was unhappy with the outcome of Zambia’s group-stage campaign, in which the team failed to record a single win and collected just two points from a possible nine. Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
