Nc’wala ceremony expected to attract over 500,000…

Chipata Mayor George Mwanza says this year’s Nc’wala traditional ceremony for the Ngoni people, scheduled for later this month, is expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors.

He noted that the anticipated rise in visitor numbers is expected to increase demand for accommodation in the area. Mr Mwanza said his office is working closely with the Hotel and Catering Association of Zambia to ensure that adequate accommodation and hospitality services are available for attendees.
