HARARE-Destiny of Afric Network founder, Reverend Obadiah Musindo, has unveiled an ambitious housing initiative aimed at delivering 200,000 housing units by the year 2030. Speaking at the launch of the programme in Harare this past weekend, Reverend Musindo โ who openly declared his support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa said the project is designed to complement the governmentโs Vision 2030. โDestiny of Africa is targeting to deliver 200,000 housing units by year 2030 and we are complementing President Emmerson Mnangagwaโs vision of an upper-middle-income economy by year 2030,โ said Musindo.
He added that the initiative will focus on providing affordable housing to low-income earners such as vendors, teachers, and nurses, and will also cater to clergymen and journalists. โMany times pastors and other religious leaders have been left behind in housing projects so as Destiny of Africa we will be targeting them. โI am also inviting journalists to be part of this programme.
Most of the time you guys have a tendency of writing about projects which you are not beneficiaries of, but we now need you to also benefit from this,โ added Musindo. According to the reverend, the project is also expected to create employment for over 1,000 youths. Home-seekers will have the opportunity to negotiate special payment plans.
