Golden Peacock Hotel Auditorium in Lilongwe was alive with music and dance on Saturday as Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG)-The Jesus Nation founder Prophet Shepherd Bushiri celebrated his birthday. The event drew a diverse audience comprising church members, guests and leaders from different sectors. Celebrations on the night opened on a high note with the Tribe of Judah Choir from ECG Church performing a joyful Happy Birthday tribute to the prophet.

Just after their harmonious voices filled the auditorium, guests joined in with cheers. Adding energy to the stage were the Prophetic Dancers from Mzuzu and Lilongwe. Their dance moves captivated the audience and attracted rounds of applause.

The musical journey continued with another heartfelt performance by Steve Spesho who was joined by his sister Miracle Chinga, children of the fallen gospel music icon Grace Chinga. Steve Spesho performed aHappy Birthdaysong dedicated to the man of the moment spicing up what was about to be a night of celebration. After his performance, Mapenenga Dance Group in their khaki costume Their performance highlighted love, unity and community service qualities that mirror Prophet Bushiri’s charity work.
