Tonse elects Mundubile as president

PF acting National Chairperson Jean Kapata has declared that Brian Mundubile has expelled himself from the party, with the final verdict expected at the central committee meeting this Saturday. Meanwhile, Mundubile, who was elected Tonse president during a conference on Wednesday, says his election was conducted in a transparent manner, and he does not expect any contestations ahead of the 2026 presidential election. He adds that now that he is Tonse president, there will be no need for him to compete for the PF presidency.

The Tonse Alliance has split into two factions, one led by Given Lubinda and another now headed by Mundubile, who takes over the mantle from Apostle Dan Pule. Speaking during a press briefing, Kapata said… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
