In Maputo province, 96 beneficiaries were located and paid benefits amounting to R17,882,000. In Inhambane province, 108 beneficiaries were located and paid benefits amounting to R14,802,202. In total, benefits were paid to 204 beneficiaries in the two provinces, with a combined value of R32,684,202, representing 20% completion of the campaign.
According to preliminary data, 1,117 beneficiaries remain to be located. From 3 August, the campaign will continue in Gaza province, where more than 923 beneficiaries are expected to be reached. The teams will work in the districts of Chibuto, Xai-Xai, Limpopo, Bilene and Chókwè, with the aim of locating beneficiaries and ensuring payment of the benefits to which they are entitled.
