Speaking during the event, Mozambican President Daniel Chapo said that the EU remains one of Mozambique’s main economic and trading partners, playing a crucial role in development financing. “With abundant natural resources, well-established logistics corridors, a predominantly young population and privileged access to critical minerals, as well as regional and global markets, Mozambique is progressively establishing itself on the world stage as a strategic hub for investment, production, trade, digitalisation, industrialisation and regional integration in Southern Africa,” Chapo said.
