The Mountain Rise SAPS Community Policing Forum (CPF) has won third place in the country at the National Excellence Awards on Monday evening in Bloemfontein. The CPF, which operates in the Mountain Rise policing precinct, has played a pivotal role in fighting crime and assisting the community. The welcoming address was delivered by the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, General Fannie Masemola.
General Masemola said that excellence was not just an event but a daily discipline and habit. He congratulated all the nominees. “This prestigious event celebrates the dedication, commitment, and outstanding contributions of employees who exemplify the organisation’s core values and mission.
“It is an opportunity to acknowledge those who go above and beyond in their service,” said Masemola. The CPF has recently received multiple awards for its efforts. It has worked closely with several partners to ensure the safety of residents, school pupils and organisations in Pietermaritzburg.
