HEALTH Minister Dr Elijah Muchima has noted that frustration, alcohol consumption and smoking are some of the leading contributors to mental health challenges in Zambia. Dr Muchima has also announced the appointment of Sylvester Katontoka as Chairperson of the Mental Health Council Board. Meanwhile, Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Dr Kennedy Lishimpi says one case of cholera has been recorded in the country in the last 24 hours.
