The deceased was discovered by a 63-year-old woman who had gone to collect firewood in a bushy area near a hill situated between Gabane and Mmankgodi villages. Upon making the discovery, she immediately alerted the police. Confirming the incident, Mogoditshane Police Station acting commander, Superintendent Mompoloki Ramaphoi, said the deceased was found in possession of an identity card, which enabled police to establish that he was the same man whose disappearance had been under investigation by Naledi Police since he was reported missing nearly a month ago.
