Certified life coach, Phemelo Minja is set to launch her book, Teen Thrive Journal at the Botswana National Museum on July 25. The journal is designed to help teenagers develop positive habits, make informed decisions and build a strong foundation for a successful future. Speaking ahead of the launch, Ms Minja said the journal was inspired by her passion for teen life coaching and her desire to equip young people with practical life skills during their formative years.
She said the journal encouraged teenagers to cultivate good habits, self-discipline, focus and goal-setting, enabling them to thrive both personally and academically. βWe want our children to develop good habits early in life so that they become responsible and successful adults. We do not want them to spend their adult lives correcting mistakes they made during their teenage years,β she said.
Ms Minja said Teen Thrive Journal also aimed to strengthen communication between parents and their children by creating opportunities for meaningful conversations. She said the journal covered topics such as personal development, discipline, focus and goal setting, allowing parents to invest time in mentoring and guiding their children as they navigated adolescence. βThe goal is for parents to walk this journey with their children so that they become successful both personally and academically,β she said. Ms Minja said her vision was to empower teenagers to develop healthy habits that would enable them to excel in every area of life.ENDS
