Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Marian Chombo, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Honourable Daniela Maghambayi from Namibia The ceremony took place at Chinhoyi Technical High School, marking a renewed commitment to regional cooperation between Mashonaland West Province andKavango EastRegion TheMoUoutlines a framework for collaboration across critical sectors, including agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure development The partnership is expected to open doors for market expansion, investment opportunities, and the sharing of technical expertise between the two regions
Hon Chombo underscored the value of unity and strategic partnerships in driving sustainable development “This MoU is a symbol of our unwavering dedication to strengthening bilateral relations,” she said “By working together, we can overcome challenges, exchange knowledge, and promote peace, stability, and prosperity across Southern Africa.”

The event was also attended by Honourable Hamunyera Hambyuka, who stressed the importance of translating commitments into tangible action “Let us not only celebrate the signing,” he urged, “but also focus on implementation
