According to the results from 110 districts, Zulu took the lead with 49.2 percent of the vote. Lubinda finished with 8.7 percent, while Chanda Katotobwe managed 4.8 percent. Greyford Monde received 1.9 percent, and Chishimba Kambwili came last with 1.4 percent.

However, his victory comes amid tension. Police officers have reportedly been seen around Zulu’s home in Ibex on Saturday, and the party remains divided. PF Secretary General Morgan Ng’ona recently won a court injunction stopping PF member Miles Sampa from interfering in party affairs or changing official records.

While Zulu celebrates, Ng’ona continues to hold the official position of PF Secretary General, protected by the court. Zulu’s rise shows the deep divisions within the party, with rival factions now claiming leadership. Makabi Zulu’s win signals a new chapter for the PF, but the road ahead is uncertain, with both legal battles and political rivalries shaping his path.
