According to her charge sheet, the accused person, Nchimako, on or about January 29, 2026, at Oodi, Lekgwarapana ward, cruelly punished a minor child aged 1 year at her place of work, where she assaulted the minor, leaving him with bruises and abrasions all over the body. Nchimako appeared before the court, where her charge sheet was read out to her, while a plea has been reserved. She returns to court on 17 February, where the investigating officer is expected to give the court an update on the matter.
Sources say, Nchimako, who was the child’s maid, had been allegedly brutally assaulting the child since last year. But this time around, neighbours witnessed the horrific brutality, recorded the incident, and called the parents. According to a video seen by Mmegi Online, the maid is seen kicking the young boy on his head as he cried uncontrollably.
