Speaking ahead of the event, Mahachi expressed his passion for creating meaningful worship experiences beyond studio recordings. Renowned gospel musician Tatenda Mahachi is set to host a highly anticipated live recording and album launch on October 10 at the prestigious 7 Arts Theatre in Harare. The worship-filled evening will be graced by special guest Winnie Mashaba, one of South Africa’s most celebrated gospel voices.
Big names on the local gospel scene such as King David (Baba Harare), Sebastian Magacha, Baba naMai Charamba, Kuda Mutsvene and Jonah Chivasa, among others would be part of the event. The event marks Mashaba’s second appearance in Zimbabwe at Mahachi’s invitation, following their memorable collaboration on the 2022 single titled A Friend. “It is important for us as artists not only to release music, but also to create our own platforms where people can come together and experience God in an intimate way,” he said.
