The festival, being hosted in Mutare for the first time, is not just about the music.

Held in collaboration with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) and the Zimbabwe National Traditional Dance Association (ZNTDA), Chibuku Neshamwari continues its 60+ year tradition of spotlighting the richness of local culture.
The national finals follow 10 provincial competitions held since May 10, leading up to the big day on July 19.
