President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to officially open the 22nd Annual National People’s Conference.

The week-long gathering follows key meetings of the Politburo and Central Committee held in Harare earlier this week, chaired by the President, and will conclude on Saturday.

In addition to officiating at the conference, President Mnangagwa is scheduled to commission two key infrastructure projects, the Mega Market Milling Plant and the National Pharmaceutical Warehouse at Mutare’s Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital.

As part of the proceedings, the President will also plant a commemorative tree at the conference venue, symbolising growth and continuity within the ruling party.Scenes from ZANU PF’s 22nd National People’s Conference in Mutare,1of 15ZANU-PF President and First Secretary, Cde Emmerson MnangagwaA moment of unity as ZANU PF leaders join hands in prayer at the ongoing 22nd National People’s Conference in Mutare.ZANU-PF President and First Secretary, Cde Emmerson MnangagwaZANU-PF President and First Secretary, Cde Emmerson MnangagwaA moment of unity as ZANU PF leaders join hands in prayer at the ongoing 22nd National People’s Conference in Mutare.Makoni West MP and Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Dr Jenfan Muswere, in attendanceCHIKOMBA West MP and Minister of Information, Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Tatenda Mavetera, in attendance
