The remains of former Warriors, Chicken Inn amd Orlando Prirates striker Tendai “Fire” Ndoro arrived from South Africa on Saturday ahead of his burial in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe on Sunday.

UPDATE :

Ndoro’s family, friends, and the wider football fraternity gathered to mourn him at his family home in Nketa 8, Bulawayo.

Among those present at the funeral wake is Ndoro’s twin brother, Takudzwa, who joins scores of mourners from all walks of life paying their respects.

This morning, a hearse carrying Ndoro’s body departs from the family residence for a funeral procession to the Bulawayo Amphitheatre, where a memorial service is taking place.

After the service, Ndoro is laid to rest at West Park Cemetery.

The international football community continues to mourn the former Orlando Pirates and Warriors forward, remembering him for his exploits on the pitch and the mark he leaves in the game.

Tendai Ndoro’s funeral procession has made its way from his Nketa 8 home to the Bulawayo Amphitheatre where scores of people have gathered and some making their way into the venue to pay their last respects to Ndoro.

Tendai Ndoro’s mother inconsolable at funeral procession

Tendai Ndoro’s mother, Mrs Christina Mukundwa, is inconsolable as she rides in the lead hearse during the funeral procession.

She cannot hold back her tears as she bids farewell to one of her twin sons, Tendai.

His twin brother, Takudzwa, is equally devastated as the funeral service is about to start at the Bulawayo Amphitheatre.

He says he is pained by the football star’s death.He said the former Orlando Pirates star was a peace loving someone who was full of love.
He says the Ndoro family is grateful for the support they got from the Bulawayo community.
Tendai Ndoro’s aunt Serivia Chikomo says it has been a difficult time for the family.
However, she says they have accepted Ndoro’s demise and they will continue celebrating his life.

The late Tendai Ndoro’s memorial service concludes

THE memorial service of the late Tendai Ndoro that was being held at Bulawayo Amphitheatre on Sunday has concluded.

At the service, speaker after speaker spoke glowingly about the departed Ndoro who was found dead in South Africa last Monday.
Mourners will now proceed to Barbourfieds Stadium before heading to West Park Cemetery where Ndoro will be laid to rest.
