A 50-YEAR-OLD woman of Livingstone’s Dambwa central area has died after being stabbed while in the bathroom, allegedly by a male juvenile aged 15 of the same residence. In a separate incident, a 14-year-old girl of Livingstone’s Ngwenya residential area has drowned in a quarry pit filled with water. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said the incident of stabbing was reported to Livingstone Central Police Station, on January 30, after midnight.
“Police received a report of murder from Mr Simwela Simbula, aged 34, of Dambwa Central Township, Livingstone District. He reported on behalf of his neighbour, Ms Esther Kahale, aged 50, of the same township, that she had been unlawfully wounded by a male person… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
