THE Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) says the appreciation of the Kwacha should have a direct impact on price reductions, especially for locally manufactured products. The Kwacha has continued gaining momentum, attaining recognition as the best-performing currency on the globe. In an interview, Friday, ZAM president Muhammed Umar said the appreciation of the Kwacha should also translate into a reduction in the prices of imported finished products.
