She has been ordered to perform 210 hours of community service in the case in which she wasbeing accused of cyber bullying Harare businesswoman Zodwa Mkandla. Phiri initially appeared before Harare magistrate Micheal Mafukidze on Monday and was remanded to yesterday for sentencing after she pleaded guilty. Six months were suspended on condition that she does not commit a similar offense in the next five years.

The remaining six months were suspended on condition that she completes 210 hours of community service at Glen Norah Poly Clinic She pleaded guilty to harrasing the businesswoman online. In the viral video, she hurled insults at Zodwa, her daughter Mello and her partner Denzel Tadiwa Maveve. She unleashed a barrage of insults against the trio.

In the video, she abused Mello by calling her the “daughter of a prostitute,’ which resulted in Zodwa filing criminal charges against her. Prosecutor Kanchelskis Ropi told the court that on Wednesday last week, Zodwa came across a TikTok video, posted by Kissmore Soko, in which she was insulting the businesswoman, calling her a ‘prostitute’ and using highly offensive language.
