Ndlovu was at the centre of attentionduring Chiefs’ 1–1 draw with Mamelodi Sundownsin their Betway Premiership clash at Loftus Versfeld on Wednesday night.Many observers felt the midfielder was overly aggressive in his challenges, including in an incidentthat resulted in Sundowns defender Keanu Cupido suffering a fractured collarbone. Cupido was stretchered off the field andtaken straight to hospital following the collision. Ndlovu had also come under scrutiny after the recent Soweto derby, where he was accused of deliberately targeting Orlando Pirates attackers Tshepang Moremi and Relebohile Mofokeng with heavy tackles to disrupt their attacking rhythm. As a result of his combative approach, Chiefs appeared forced into a tactical adjustment in the second half against the Brazilians.
