First Capital Bank (FCB) last night extended its romance with FCB Nyasa Bullets in style by announcing a record K3 billion sponsorship deal for three years. The sponsorship translates to K1 billion per season— representing a 471.43 percent increase from the previous K525 million package. Amid electrifying sights and sounds, a loud cheer erupted the moment the bank’s Head of Marketing and Communication, Twikale Chirwa, revealed the package during a ceremony held at the HTD Building at Ginnery Corner in Blantyre, where the club’s offices are located.
Even Bullets’ long-time rivals, Mighty Wanderers, were represented, with their president Thomson Mpinganjira, who graced the event, nodding in appreciation as he clapped and flashed a broad smile. “This is not just an increase in financial support; it is a statement of belief,” said Chirwa. “I now present to you our sponsorship package for the next three years, which is K3 billion,” he added, drawing deafening applause.
Chirwa said the bank is proud to be associated with a club that commands immense loyalty, inspires generations, and consistently strives for greatness. “Tonight, we are pleased to unveil an enhanced sponsorship package, reaffirming our long-term commitment to the team, its supporters, and the broader football ecosystem in Malawi,” he said. Earlier, Bullets president Konrad Buckle thanked FCB for its continued support.

During the event, Bullets also unveiled their 2026/27 season kits. Among other officials who attended the event were FCB founder Hitesh Anadkat, Super League of Malawi president Brigadier General Gilbert Mittawa, Ekhaya FC sponsor William Mpinganjira, who is also FDH Holdings Limited Group Chief Executive Officer, and Silver Strikers board chairperson George Kaudza-Masina.
