To address the ongoing electricity challenges, a 240-panel solar power system has been installed.

Ngobese said reliable electricity is essential in ensuring that residents receive consistent care, particularly those who require specialised medical attention. Pevensey Place Association chairperson Ryan De Beer welcomed the donation, saying a stable care environment is critical for the wellbeing of residents. “Our environment depends on stability.

Reliable energy is essential in assisting the elderly who suffer from cerebral palsy,” De Beer said. “This system will make a significant difference in maintaining consistent care and comfort,” he said. Cerebral palsy is a lifelong neurological condition that affects movement, muscle co-ordination and posture. For elderly patients, it can present additional health complications, often requiring ongoing medical support and specialised attention.
