Zimbabwe Rugby captain Hilton Mudariki received a significant boost ahead of the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia, as Zimoco handed him the keys to a brand-new Mitsubishi Triton double cab this morning.

The event, held at Zimoco’s Showroom in Borrowdale, was a celebration of excellence in sport and innovation, with the partnership aiming to inspire young Zimbabweans to dream big.

A Partnership to Inspire
Zimoco’s Head of Business Development, Manfred Chaniwa, expressed the importance of the collaboration, emphasizing its potential to motivate aspiring athletes across the country. “Hilton Mudariki is more than a rugby captain; he is a symbol of resilience and determination for all young Zimbabweans, especially those who aspire to excel in sports,” said Chaniwa. “This partnership is about more than just a vehicle—it’s about inspiring the next Hilton Mudariki, whether they’re practicing rugby in the dusty streets of Mbare, Sakubva, or Mpopoma, or training in the leafy suburbs of Borrowdale.

Together, we are showing that hard work and commitment can take you anywhere. ”
The partnership underscores Zimoco’s broader mission to support Zimbabwean talent.

Over the years, Zimoco has collaborated with local icons such as Tamy Moyo and Miss Red, and now Hilton Mudariki joins this illustrious list.

Speaking at the event, Zimoco CEO Bobby Crossley, who personally handed over the Triton to Mudariki, highlighted the significance of this partnership. “At Zimoco, we specialize in representing brands that deliver on their promise, and Mitsubishi is no exception.

Hilton embodies the same qualities we see in the Mitsubishi Triton—strength, reliability, and performance.

By partnering with Hilton, we hope to inspire young Zimbabweans across the country to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals,” said Crossley. 🔗
