President Hakainde Hichilema has ordered thorough investigations into the brutal killing of a Chingola woman, Eneless Kamutumbe, who was slain by a mob in Kalumbila. State House Chief Communication Specialist, Clayson Hamasaka, said the President is appalled by the incident, which occurred following allegations of “disappearing manhoods” that sparked the attack—a development that has drawn widespread condemnation In a statement posted on his official Facebook page on Sunday, Hamasaka wrote:“Nothing entitles a mob to take a life.” He said extrajudicial violence of any kind is a heinous crime and would be treated as such.Hamasaka revealed that Hichilema had instructed the Zambia Police Service and other security wings to carry out comprehensive investigations and ensure all those involved were held accountable. “Every individual responsible must be identified, arrested, and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
