CHILLSPOT Records director Levels and Afrofusion star Andy Muridzo say they have turned their backs on their past and turned to God. The duo, along with Zimdancehall star Dhadza D, have been turning heads at Spirit Embassy Church services in recent weeks. The trio, which has courted controversy in the past years, has been singing and worshipping along with congregants.
Speaking to Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Levels revealed that turning to God was the best decision he has ever made. “I don’t regret it because God is great and I can see the results of turning to Him. The person I will forever thank is Prophet Eubert Angel, who embraced me,” he said.
“Over the years, many negative stories about me have been told and I am happy that I now have the perfect opportunity to worship the Lord. “I have been embraced with open hands here and everything in my life is now flowing. I urge people to forget about my past mistakes and welcome me as a born-again son.” Levels is encouraging fellow creatives to turn to God and receive free salvation.

“It’s never too late for people to give their lives to God as I did. I can safely say that in my life, I have seen the light and the way. “There are things I used to do when I was not born again and, right now, you are talking to a new person who has changed and transformed himself.
“The advantage I have now is that I am close to the man of God who has helped me restore my relationship with God,” he said. Muridzo, who was given a rapturous reception at Spirit Embassy’s crossover night, could not hide his elation at being welcomed. “I was welcomed with open hands and I am glad that I still go to church consistently.
A lot has changed in my life,” he said. “I am someone who believes in our African culture and heritage but that does not stop me from going to church. “I will still observe some of my cultural beliefs because they define who we are, but I will also follow the teachings of the man of God.
