THE Ministry of Finance and National Planning says it released K15.56 billion to finance public service delivery in November. In a statement issued, Sunday, the Office of Treasury stated that out of the K15.56 billion, K2.43 billion was allocated to transfers, subsidies and social benefits, while K2.04 billion supported the implementation of government programmes and general operations. “The Government of the Republic of Zambia, through the Ministry of Finance and National Planning (Treasury), continues to demonstrate that fiscal credibility is best affirmed through consistent action and transparent implementation.
