Confirming the incident, Palapye Police Station commander, Superintendent Koziba Phuluweni, said the fatal accident occurred at around 4:45 am along the Palapye–Martin’s Drift road on Saturday. Phuluweni explained that the horse and trailer truck, which was being driven by a 35-year-old woman, reportedly hit potholes along the road, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
