A group of Zimbabwean students left the country last Friday as they prepare to embark on an educational journey to India courtesy of the Global Arcus Scholarships program that made it possible through a collaborative effort between Mobishop Two Six Three Connect Pvt Ltd, Global Arcus, Shamwari Dzinovaka Foundation and other partners.The partnerships and initiatives showcase the potential for educational exchange and development to drive economic growth, cultural understanding, and individual empowerment with MUREZA’s plans to set up factories in Zimbabwe and Mobishop’s 263 Youth Hub platform leading the charge.Global Arcus founder and CEO Mr Sachin Shekar congratulated the scholarship recipients emphasising hardwork and dedication, while thanking parents for their trust in the company.“It’s an honor for Global Arcus to play a part in your educational journey, and we are committed to providing you with the support you need to succeed in India.“I like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the parents for entrusting us with the care of their children, we understand the sacrifices that come with sending your child abroad for education, therefore we expect hardwork,”he said.Founding managing director of Mobishop Two Six Three Connect Pvt Ltd, Tendai Davy Makiwa said Zimbabwe’s growth requires partnerships for lasting impact nationwide.“Zimbabwe remains one of the most hopeful places on the globe with various untapped opportunities which require active private companies to partner with the government and international partners to deliver lasting impact individuals, communities and society as a whole “Mr Makiwa.A parent, Melusi Sibanda said organisers for making scholarship opportunities accessible saying it is a dream come true for his son to study in India.“It is a dream come true, this achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration and partnership which I need to thank on behalf of parents.“I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Global Arcus, Mobishop and all the other organisations involved in making this initiative a success, you have made it possible for students like my son to access world-class education and pursue their aspirations.”An outgoing student, Tinovimbanashe Sewera emphasised commitment to utilising Indian education to garner innovative ideas, thereby contributing country’s progress.“Personally as a student going to study in India, I pledge to bring more ideas as to advance my country’s digital economy.“Just as our forefathers built the Great Zimbabwe with their own intelligence, I believe my generation can exceed their legacy with our own intelligence affirmed by our studies abroad,”he added.
