During an earlier response, Twigg said the Table View police and SAPS divers were on the scene in Table Bay Harbour where a man and a child were spotted in the water. The child was retrieved from the water, and the search for the man was ongoing at the time.
Later, Twigg confirmed that the manโs body had been recovered.
