FIRST Farai is being savaged online where he has become the fall guy of the ZIMURA saga. The sungura artist is part of the leadership saga at ZIMURA which has cast a spotlight on the organisation. Some artists have come out in the open claiming the organisation is giving them a raw deal.
H-Metro reported last year that leading gospel artist Sabastain Magacha only received US$120 in 2024 from ZIMURA as royalties. In Magacha’s case, it meant that that, on average, he earned just 33 cents per day that year from the airplay, which his songs received. It seems a lot of fan anger is now being directed at First Farai.
He is now being body shamed with fans attacking his bulging tummy, which they FALSELY claim was being sustained by feasting at the expense of the artists. There is no evidence to back such outrageous claims. However, this has not stopped fans from accusing First Farai of, among other things, also stealing money pooled for condolences.

First Farai has challenged those with evidence to give it to the police. He has also said he is ready to hand himself over to the cops for them to investigate and prove if he ever took even a cent from these funeral cash contributions. However, this has not stopped the onslaught online.
A video, showing First Farai performing on stage at a show, has been turned into a discussion about his bulging tummy. The anger, clearly, is coming from the events at ZIMURA.
