On Monday, 16 March, in Brasília, the Finance Minister of Mozambique, Carla Louveira, held a meeting with the President of the Central Bank of Brazil, Gabriel Galípolo. For Louveira, the meeting was an important opportunity to understand Brazil’s experience in coordinating public policies, financial regulation, and development finance. “Brazil’s experience in structuring development financial institutions and coordinating the various actors within the economic system offers relevant references for the process underway in Mozambique,” Carla Louveira said, according to a statement from the Mozambican Ministry of Finance.
