The family of a 33-year-old Avoca man who was shot dead outside his parents’ home last year have appealed for information that could help bring those responsible to justice. Vishav Premlall was killed in July while leaving his parents’ home for work, according to a statement issued by Brad Nathanson Investigations. The statement said Premlall was reversing out of the driveway when a white Toyota Corolla blocked his exit.
A man then exited the passenger side of the vehicle and walked quickly towards the driver’s door of Premlall’s BMW. “When Premlall looked at him, the man was pointing a firearm directly at him. He believed he was about to be hijacked,” the statement read.
Premlall allegedly undid his seatbelt, unlocked the doors and raised his hands, offering no resistance. The suspect reportedly fired four shots, with one bullet passing through Premlall’s right arm and into his face. Another went through his neck, while a third struck his heart.
