While the video is authentic, the audio has been digitally manipulated to suit the scammer’s narrative.

Whilst this is being passed as an investment opportunity developed by government, it is unlikely and suspicious that a member of Zimbabwe’s opposition would speak on behalf of government as is the case in this video. Furthermore, the owner of the Facebook page that shared the video,Nick Ford Bollingerhas been flagged by other users to bea conmanwho uses Artificial Intelligence. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is fake If government is said to have developed an investment platform, government officials would be the ones to break the news.
