Diana NhereraThe Epworth Local Board says it will engage Goromonzi Rural District Council, the Department of Physical Planning and the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works on the issue of a piece of land that they want to incorporate into their area.Epworth Local Board town clerk, Mr Wilton Mhanda, told a full board meeting last week that the land in question was recommended during their consultations for their master plan.He said the Epworth master plan has passed the presentation stage following presentations made in Kadoma, together with those of the town planner.“It now awaits submission to the Minister for consideration and signing so that it becomes effective,” he said.“There is one gap that we were advised to work on as council but it does not affect the master plan.“We were advised to communicate with Goromonzi. They might not want their piece of land to be taken by Epworth, but that is the recommendation. So we are going to engage Goromonzi, (Department of) Physical Planning and (Ministry of) Local Government.”Share on FacebookPost on XFollow usSave
