With just days to go, entries are filling up fast for the much-loved Cordwalles ASAMBE 2026, and organisers are encouraging families to join in on the fun for what promises to be one of the most enjoyable and family-friendly events on the local calendar. Taking place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Absa Karkloof Country Club, the event invites the community to come together for a day of outdoor fun, fitness, and connection in the beautiful Karkloof countryside. “We are looking forward to welcoming our community for a relaxed and memorable day out,” said Mel Klute, chairperson of the Cordwalles Parents’ Association.
Cordwalles ASAMBE has become known as a highlight on the local events calendar, offering something for everyone — whether you’re a seasoned runner or cyclist, a casual walker, or simply looking for a fun family outing. Participants can choose from a range of activities, including a 10km mountain bike ride and 5km or 2,5km trail run or walk along scenic trails. Younger participants are well catered for too, with exciting kids’ races and a dedicated kids’ zone, which allows parents to take part while their kids are entertained.
Beyond the fun, Cordwalles ASAMBE continues to make a meaningful difference in the wider community. Although online entries have now closed, late entries can still be completed at pre-registration on Friday at Cordwalles Preparatory School from 11am to 3pm, or on the morning of the event at registration. • For more information, please visit www.cordwallesasambe.co.za
